Giving FAQs

1. Where do I send my check?
You may send your check to either of the Mennonite Church USA office locations familiar to you. Mennonite Mission Network has offices that receive contributions in both Newton, Kan., and Elkhart, Ind. Those addresses are:

Mennonite Mission Network
Elkhart office
PO Box 370
Elkhart, IN 46515-0370

Mennonite Mission Network
Newton office
718 N Main St
Newton, KS 67114-1819

2. How do I make out my check?
Make your check payable to Mennonite Mission Network, and write any special designations on the memo line.

3. Can I still designate check contributions for specific ministries or workers?
Yes, wherever you send your check, you may designate your contribution for a specific ministry of Mennonite Mission Network, or support the full scope of Mission Network ministries with an undesignated contribution.

4. Can I make a donation in someone’s honor/in memory of a loved one?
Yes. More and more people are choosing alternative gift options for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, memorials and many other occasions. If you are making a gift in honor of or in memory of a loved one, please provide the name and address of who the gift is in memory of, and who made the gift.

5. I used to be able to write just one check for the benefit of all programs. Can I still give to "the whole?"
Yes, if you prefer this option, please designate it clearly on your check. Both your area conference and Mennonite Mission Network will forward the funds to the appropriate programs using the formula provided on the Firstfruits congregational worksheet, which is:
66% to Mennonite Mission Network
15% to Mennonite Church USA Executive Board
14% to Mennonite Education Agency
  3% to Mennonite Publishing Network
2% to the Racial/Ethnic constituency groups
