Mennonite Mission work started in 1952, through a ministry to international students studying in England. The London Mennonite Centre today is a resource and teaching center that cultivates Anabaptist-rooted, Christian discipleship as a way of life.
In the 1970s, Mennonite mission workers began relating to Christians seeking to bring new life into churches in a post-Christian society. The Anabaptist Network formed to provide a forum for Christians to explore how the early Anabaptist model can shape the church in England.
