Partnerships are at the center of today's mission work, and include individuals who pray for workers, networks created to support specific ministries, sister congregations separated by thousands of miles committed to mutual prayer and collaborative ministry, and agencies that facilitate all kinds of transnational ministry. Christ calls the church to be one body; partnerships allow the different parts of that body to realize their connectedness and shared ministry goals.
