Ministry
A native of Switzerland, Margrit coordinates Christian education ministries of the Bolivia Mennonite Church and prepares leaders for ministries with youth and children. She has worked with the Bolivian churches in organizing children's clubs, Sunday schools, Bible schools, musicals, retreats, and youth events that feature Bible quizzes, discipleship, and leadership training. Margrit leads quarterly workshops for Sunday school teachers, and is actively involved in the Sinaí Mennonite Church, where her husband, Freddy Barrón, is pastor. Margrit also supports the Esmirna congregation, including a day care program, Guarderia Samuelito.
