Lillian began serving in Burkina Faso in 1999. She immersed herself in the Siamou language and culture, and helped form a team to promote literacy among the Siamou-speaking people. Lillian helped prepare a primer for adults so they can learn to read and write their own language for the first time, laying the foundation for people to be able to read the Scripture when it becomes available in Siamou.
Lillian married Norm Nicolson in October 2006, and since January 2008 they serve together. His assignment is to record Bible stories, scripture and music for the Burkinabe people.
