resources to individuals, congregations, area conferences
and all parts of the church. We have a variety of
resources available to equip people to reach their
full potential as ambassadors of Jesus Christ in word
and deed. The following resources are sorted into four categories:
Resources to inspire a missional church
- Beyond Ourselves
Beyond Ourselves magazine is dedicated to the vision of a missional church, in which Mennonites look “beyond ourselves” to extend the grace and peace of Jesus Christ to others.
- Speakers Guide
The staff and workers of Mission Network appreciate opportunities to visit in the congregations, meet people and discuss with them what God is doing across the street and around the world.
- Through a Missional Lens
Mennonite Mission Network’s contribution to a Mennonite Church USA series of Resources for the Missional Church for congregational leaders.
- U.S. Ministries
Mission Network’s U.S. Ministries department is developing a step-by-step process for helping congregations become centered on the mission of God.

Resources to form a missional people
- MIssion Bank teaching tools
Help a new generation learn generous giving habits. Mission banks and the accompanying teaching tools can be used in Sunday school, Bible school or mission festivals. Giving projects help children understand how their generosity helps others know Jesus.
- Instituto Bíblico Anabautista
Instituto Bíblico Anabautista helps the nearly 115 Spanish-speaking Mennonite Church USA congregations develop strong leaders. (Español: Instituto Bíblico Anabautista colabora con casi 115 congregaciones de la Iglesia Menonita USA que hablan español a formar líderes potentes.)
- Missio Dei
Published by Mennonite Mission Network to invite reflection and dialogue about God’s mission in today’s world, Missio Dei (Latin for “God’s mission”) is a series of biblical and theological essays on the work of mission.

Another Way is a weekly column on family life, values, and spirituality available on the Third Way Cafe website.
- Community development
The Mission Network provides consultation for conferences, groups, congregations and ministries as they launch or revise community-development ministries.
- Multiethnic ministries
Mennonite Mission Network works with a variety of ethnically diverse congregations in providing connections between them and Mennonite Church USA structures and consultation on ministry-related issues.
- Church Planting
Mennonite Mission Network works with individuals, small groups, congregations and area conferences to assist with the development of church planting leadership, teams and strategies.
- Third Way Café
Produced by Mennonite Media, Third Way Café is the gateway to columns and newsletters on issues ranging from peace and justice to family matters.
- Urban ministry directors
Urban ministry directors work to develop a network of local leadership, start new churches and ministries, and empower local leaders in ministry.

- Mission Mosaic
Mission Mosaic provides detailed information about the mission agency of Mennonite Church USA, including International Ministries, Christian Service (formerly Service, Learning and Discipleship) and Partnerships.
- Relate
Relate is an Anabaptist youth ministry resource for pastors, sponsors and lay leaders. This free HTML newsletter features bible studies, discussion guides and activities for use with youth and young adults.
- Mission Network News
A weekly collection of news articles and photographs about the work of Mennonite Mission Network around the world.
- Speakers Guide
The staff and workers of Mission Network appreciate opportunities to visit in the congregations, meet people and discuss with them what God is doing across the street and around the world.
- Stewardship Counseling
Mennonite Mission Network Stewardship Counselors can explain a variety of ways in which individuals can invest in God’s mission now while being good stewards of their resources.
- JoinHands (formerly Tenth Man)
JoinHands invites individuals and groups to make regular contributions to support congregations seeking to build their first church meeting house. Most grants go to urban congregations and a tithe of all grants is used to help build church facilities overseas.
- Peace & Justice Support Network
The Peace & Justice Support Network equips the church to embody and communicate Christ's reconciling way of peace. It offers a variety of posters, t-shirts, booklets, bookmarks, and other peace resources.
- Prayer Partners
Prayer Partners connects you to ministries related to Mennonite Mission Network through Prayer Vine, monthly updates on workers based on their missionary letters and urgent prayer requests sent via email.
- Urban Connections
Urban Connections is a resource for Anabaptist Christians interested in issues relating to missions in urban contexts that is published six times per year electronically.
- Urban Leaders Network
An annual gathering of pastors and lay leaders who work in urban settings or have an interest in urban mission.
