Building Community in Missional Congregations

Since Mennonite Church USA was formed in 2001 the annual meeting has addressed the topic of missional church. The joint event this year, sponsored by Mennonite Mission Network and Executive Leadership of Mennonite Church USA, will focus on practical application of missional church concepts. The invitation is open to leaders in all parts of the church. As one of the leaders working at a missional approach, come and gather for inspiration and renewal!

Please come to:

• Hear real life stories, that will include both the challenges and successes congregations and conferences have experienced on their missional journey
• Spend time dwelling in the Word with 1 Peter 2.4-10 and praying with other leaders
• Participate in a learning community
• Learn skills to help you lead missional change in your context
• Worship with Chicago area churches on Sunday morning
• Leave inspired by the presentations and discussion, with your spirit renewed

The meeting will begin with worship at 1:00 pm on April 19th and will conclude with a 12:30 pm lunch on April 21st.
