The 84 exuberant seniors that graduated from Lithuania Christian College May 1 will seek to become Eastern Europe's next generation of leaders. After a processional across campus, every graduate passed by the Mission Network’s James Mininger, college president, for a diploma. They also received a red rose and a ceremonial sash. LCC graduates are trained in the liberal arts, gain business knowledge and learn about Christ through courses in theology and ethics and displays of faith and prayer. They also leave fluent in English, many learning from the Mission Network’s Robin Gingerich who heads the English language institute. College professors and administrators believe the 84 graduates who turned their tassels April 30 will be among Eastern Europe’s next generation of leaders and thinkers.
