God speaks to us in many ways.  Often, God's voice or leading becomes clear through others listening, probing and inquiring. I love to engage individuals and congregations in talking about what God is doing. It's been very fulfilling to do that as a pastor, hospital chaplain, and mission staff. I believe it helps to clarify how each may participate more fully in God's work. By active listening, I get to hear many wonderful stories of God's mission. In turn, I also get to share stories of God's work elsewhere. As these converge, new connections and clarity come. I feel enthused when that happens. Hopefully, we can discover God's leading as we speak together.
