We will be holding the 2012 MVS orientation at the San Antonio Mennonite Chuch in San Antonio, Texas. The orientation will take place from Sunday, August 19, to Friday, August 24.

Orientation schedule
Please plan to arrive at San Antonio Mennonite Chuch before 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, to register and get ready for our first activity.
Orientation will end Friday morning. You are expected to attend all sessions. In the evening and at certain times during the day, there will be free time for recreation and relaxation. Please keep this in mind as you pack for the week.
Travel
As outlined in the MVS Handbook, travel to and from orientation, as well as to and from the unit, is the participant's personal expense. We, therefore, encourage volunteers to make their travel arrangements early in order to take advantage of lower prices.
If you plan to fly to the orientation, you can take public transportation from the airport to the church. It costs $1.25 to take the bus, and you will need to make one transfer. The bus ride is about an hour long, so please plan to arrive at the San Antonio airport by 4:30 p.m., so that you will have time to get to the church by 6 p.m. Please schedule your return flight for after 12:30 p.m. Friday

Registration
Online registration is available for orientation. Please register no later than July 7.
