Handyman HelperGreccio Housing works with finding low-income housing for homeless families. The participant would work as a handyman helper working with more than 350 apartments.
Community Center AssistantThe Community Center provides a food bank, senior lunches, and after school program. The volunteer assists wherever needed including maintenance, janitorial, interacting with people coming in for services, and in the after school program. AssistantWestside CARES helps churches on the west side of Colorado Springs pool their resources so they can meet the needs of their neighbors. Responsibilities include working in the clinic pharmacy, assisting medical personnel, eligibility interviewing, keeping medical records, and scheduling appointments.
Intake AssistantThe Urban Ministries crisis intervention program provides basic services to people in crisis. Responsibilities include interviewing and assessing patients' needs for financial and food assistance.
