The Bright Futures Program is a day program for young adults (17-20) who have intellectual and/or physical disabilities. This placement includes some administrative work (phones, filing, etc.) & also includes interaction with the students of the program.

Greccio Housing works with finding low-income housing for homeless families. The participant would work as a handyman helper working with more than 350 apartments.

Responsibilities at the Open Door Clinic include working with the pharmacist, organizing the pharmacy, keeping medication inventory current, maintaining records, and providing medications to the clients.

The Open Door Clinic provides medical care to homeless and lower income people. Responsibilities include working in the clinic pharmacy, assisting medical personnel, eligibility interviewing, keeping medical records, and scheduling appointments.

The Urban Ministries crisis intervention program provides basic services to people in crisis. Responsibilities include interviewing and assessing patients' needs for financial and food assistance.

The food pantry assistant stocks and distributes food to people in need, and works closely with crisis intervention services. Responsibilities include working with others to organize and maintain the food inventory and its distribution to the clients.

The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle operates a small, sustainable, suburban farm to provide fresh produce to hungry people, in addition to “food rescue” and other services.

The participant could serve in any area of the Arts Together program.

After a six week training program, the volunteer would work as a certified nurse’s assistant at The Mennonite Home nursing home.

The person assigned to this job would work closely with the director to plan, supervise and participate with residents in activities such as arts and crafts, games, social events, etc. Also interviews clients in gathering histories for medical record.
