Beautiful Colorado Springs (elevation 6,000 ft.) is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, with Pikes Peak to the west and the Great Plains to the east. Participants here have plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation in the national forests and parks. There are a variety of assignments, including serving homeless people, working with children, or in maintenance.

With its large military population, Colorado Springs has a unique need for a Mennonite/Anabaptist perspective on what it means to follow Jesus. Beth-El Mennonite Church, an active congregation of 170, is the sponsoring church for this new Service Adventure unit.
