Team size
The Botswana Youth Venture group is limited to six participants.

Service/learning component
You are invited to serve alongside others in southern Africa, build new relationships, and open yourself to unexpected experiences. Opportunities to connect with what God is doing include cross-cultural education and interaction, working with HIV/AIDS ministires, reconciliation work, and other community outreach. You'll also experience the local culture and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Housing facilities
Housing may include guesthouses, homes or dormitories. Expect a variety of lodging, and plan to be flexible.

Travel directions to location
Orientation will take place in a major stateside city. Youth Venture will make your travel arrangements from the United States to southern Africa. You are responsible for your travel to orientation. 

If you do not have a passport, you can download an application at www.travel.state.gov/passport/forms.html.  Please allow ample time for passport processing.

Cost
Trip cost is $2,600 and includes international travel, meals and lodging from the time of your arrival t orientation on June 6 through your return to the United States. Trip cost does not include travel to orientation, passport, or personal spending money. Trip cost is subject to change in the event of significant airline price increases.
