Team size
The Ft. Myers Youth Venture team is limited to six participants.

Service/learning component
The vibrant and growing congregation of Iglesia Evangelica Menonita Arca de Salvacion will host your Youth Venture team. You will join with the church’s ministries in their neighborhood, specifically helping them with an all-day vacation Bible school for more than 150 neighborhood children. In addition to Bible-related activities and teaching, the church also provides breakfast, lunch and a snack for the children. Many hands are needed for this important outreach in the neighborhood!

In your free time, you will explore Ft. Myers, check out their beaches, and maybe find an alligator or two. 

Currently, nine nationalities are worshiping together at Arca de Salvacion: Puerto Rican, Mexican, Guatemalan, Peruvian, Panamanian, El Salvadorian, Dominican Republic, Honduran, and Anglo. You will enjoy meals from many of these ethnic groups!

Best of all, your team will build relationships with youth from the church as you worship and work together.

Housing facilites
Your team will stay together in a house right next to the church.

Travel
You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements to Ft. Myers. If you are flying, your team leaders will make arrangements to meet you at the airport. If you are driving, the Youth Venture office or your team leaders can provide you with directions.

Cost
Trip costs is $600 and includes meals, lodging, travel and recreational activities from the time of your arrival in Ft. Myers to your departure. Trip cost does not include travel to Ft. Myers, or personal spending money.
