Overview
Through the Ministry Connections
program, nearly 250 congregations, groups and individuals
experience a more direct connection with Mennonite
Mission Network ministries and mission workers. This
interactive giving program creates a direct and personal
connection between Ministry Connections and mission workers,
who rely on prayer support, personal encouragement
and financial contributions to further their ministry.
Ministry Connections care for workers by sending notes
of encouragement or care packages, sharing financial
resources and praying regularly for mission workers
and their ministries. Nearly half of all mission workers
together receive more than $900,000 annually in financial
support. In turn, Ministry Connections receive prayer
letters and other information about their workers'
assignment. The program enables a deepening sense
of connection as the relationships develop."From
(Christ) the whole body, joined and held together
by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself
up in love, as each part does its work." -Ephesians
4:16
Ministry Connections are
Inclusive
Anyone can be a ministry connection: congregations,
groups, or individuals. If you or your group desires
to be connected with ministry in the U.S. or internationally,
then consider becoming a ministry connection.
Committed
A mission worker often commits to a term of at least
three years and many serve multiple terms. Ministry Connections are encouraged to make the same type of commitment,
with the hope that the support relationship will continue
for the duration of this ministry or assignment.
Connected
Mennonite Mission Network has ministries and workers
all over the world including places like: Mongolia,
the Middle East, Lithuania, Colombia, and Burkina
Faso. Workers are involved in ministries ranging from
health teaching to church planting, community development
to Bible translation finding wholistic ways to represent
the Gospel while respecting traditional culture.
How will Mission Network help
you be a ministry connection?
You will receive periodic prayer letters or news
releases about the Mennonite Mission Network mission
worker or ministry you support. Congregations or groups
who are part of the program will receive a newsletter
twice a year with ideas, insights and stories of how
other congregations are engaged in mission.
What will you gain by being
a ministry connection?
- Knowledge about how God is at work in the world
- Insight about people in other cultures
- Engagement with the Mennonite Mission Network

- Satisfaction in knowing you are providing much-needed
support
