DEO
As the newest service program of Mennonite Mission Network, DEO is a yearlong mission program that provides discipleship training in an urban setting. Designed for young adults, ages 18 to 30, DEO challenges young adults to experience an intimate encounter with Jesus, radical outreach and practical service. $25 pays for the books used by one DEO participant in the discipleship-training phase of the program.

Youth Venture
Since 1985, more than 700 people have participated in Youth Venture in assignments ranging from construction, yard work and home repair to Bibleschool, recreational and community programs. Youth Venture provides opportunities for youth and young adults to join together for a one to three-week service and learning experience. Participants explore God at work in a culture or setting other than their own and are accompanied by adult leaders who serve alongside the team. $50 helps to prepare spiritual and cultural orientation for Youth Venture teams before they embark on their service assignments..

Mennonite Voluntary Service
Mennonite Voluntary Service provides a way for people (age 20 and up) to live out their faith through deeds of service in more than 20 communities throughout the United States. Started in 1944, MVS is the oldest continuing voluntary service program in Mennonite circles. Rooted in the spirit of Jesus, MVS invites people from a variety of backgrounds and ages to join together in Christian ministry. MVS has an annual retreat that offers four days of spiritual renewal and refreshment, and helps volunteers process their experience of a new culture. $100 covers the cost of the annual Mennonite Voluntary Service retreat for one volunteer.
