Overview
Our diverse staff works with a variety of non-traditional,
ethnic-based Mennonite congregations in providing
connections between them and Mennonite Church USA
structures as well as consultation on ministry-related
issues. In consultation with church leadership in
area conferences, countries of origin and U.S.-based
ethnic associations, here are some of the typical
resources provided:
- Building bridges between congregations, the Mission
Network, area conferences and mission committees.
- Translating strategic materials into other languages.
- Organizing conferences on multicultural, ministry-related
issues.
- Providing consultation and networking on the international
mission efforts of U.S.-based immigrant congregations
to their countries of origin.
- Educating Mennonite Church USA congregations about
its multicultural nature and the gifts and needs
of congregations from different cultural streams.
- Providing consultation in anti-racist strategies
for missional congregations.
