Creating the music
The lyrics of these songs attempt to convey a sampling of missional visions within the Mennonite Church. Some were inspired by conversations with Mennonite leaders,some by writings of Mennonite leaders. All were inspired by Scriptures relating to their stories and ideas. We immersed ourselves in music from a variety of backgrounds representing a cross--section of our Mennonite cultural diversity. This influenced the musical styles that we used in these compositions.

Using the songs
These songs were developed for use in congregations. Some are more suitable for group singing, while others will work better for small groups or as solos. Several songs have been transcribed into keys other than what is on the recording to make them easier to sing. Feel free to make these songs your own and adapt them as you wish. May the Holy Spirit flow through you as you worship!
