Since the late 1990s, congregations in Iowa and Nebraska have been part of a partnership that provides support and companionship to the indigenous church and people of Ecuador. The partnership provides financial support for long-term workers Cesar Moya and Patricia Uruena from Colombia, who have served since January 2000 in Quito, Ecuador, where they are on the faculties of two Christian universities and teach courses on Anabaptist themes and conflict resolution. The partnership also has supported a shortterm volunteer from Colombia.
