Unit responsibilities
Meal Preparation/Cleaning Schedule - Staff will make a schedule that will be posted at the camp. Everyone will be expected to help clean the camp before departure. Instructions will be given at the camp.
Cookies – Each unit should bring two dozen homemade cookies.

Sleeping bag (or single sheets/blanket), pillow
Ear plugs (for light sleepers)
Towels,

Flashlight (camping lamps)
Mosquito repellant with deet
Bible
Pen/pencil
notebook/paper for notes
Table games/cards (for late night activities)
Musical instruments
Clothing
In May their might be some snow patches here and there. Plan for cool mornings, cool evenings (cool = around 40 degrees) and warm mid-day temperatures (warm = 40-60 degrees). With the Colorado sunshine and our low humidity, add 15 degrees for how it actually feels. Light coats, jackets, sweatshirts and pants should do the trick. A good pair of tennis or hiking shoes will take care of the feet.
Celebration Night
On Tuesday evening, be prepared for Celebration Night. Each unit is invited to do a five-minute presentation on the life and work of the unit. Stories, poems, skits, musical pieces are just a few of the creative possibilities. MVS staff will coordinate this time together.
Musical Instruments
Participants are invited to bring their musical instruments and share their musical gifts in worship and throughout the retrerat.
Discussion groups
As in the past, there will be several discussion groups available to you throughout the week. If you have ideas for a discussion groups you would like to lead, please let us know ahead of time or bring your ideas with you. There will be a sign-up sheet at retreat.
