Service Opportunities: Unique World Gifts is a not-for-profit store that operates year-round. Interests and talents of volunteers are matched to tasks that include bookkeeping, advertising, speaking engagements, off-site sales, promotions, and assisting in the store two to three days each week. Hickory Mennonite congregation will appreciate the support and encouragement of volunteers. Volunteers are welcome year round with greatest need from September to mid-December. Minimum service time of one month is encouraged for those with no prior experience working in a Ten Thousand Villages store. Work is also available with local Habitat for Humanity projects.
Lodging: An RV location or efficiency apartment is available.
