MVS retreat

The 2019 MVS national retreat will be held in Colorado, Oct. 20-24.

The national retreat is a time for you to get together with other MVSers to relax, have fun, worship, and spend some time reflecting on your MVS terms and assignments.

Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp will be hosting us for this retreat near Divide, CO.

Please plan to arrive at the camp after 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20. The first scheduled event will be supper at 5:30 p.m.

If you are flying, please use the Colorado Springs airport. MVS staff will arrange transportation from the airport to camp. Please select a flight that arrives at the airport no later than 4 p.m. (Contact MVS staff if you cannot find a flight arriving before this time). Due to carpooling and staff traveling on this day, as well, there may be some time spent waiting at the airport.

If cheaper tickets can be found (at least $100 cheaper per person) by flying into the Denver airport, please check with MVS staff to see if transportation can be arranged from Denver to camp. To allow for extra driving time, those flying into Denver should arrive no later than 3 p.m.

The retreat ends with breakfast on Thursday, Oct. 24. When booking flights, please select a flight that departs no earlier than 11 a.m. (Noon for Denver) to allow you time to get to the airport.

Travel time from the Colorado Springs airport to camp is around 1 hour. From Denver to camp is just over 2 hours.

Once you have made your transportation arrangements, please register for retreat here:
