Function:Patagonia Missionary Project sends interns into a community where relationships have been established. Specific roles are negotiated based on the gifts and experiences the person would bring. Possibilities may include discipleship work with new believers, activities with children, like participation in a day care facility for small children, teaching Sunday School, English, music or literacy. Skills in mechanics, carpentry and repair could be helpful to the local church in work towards financial self-sufficiency. Interns can also participate in mission trips to other ministry locations.

Language: Good communication skills in Spanish would be important
Position Specific Qualifications:Some college; Bible training; Cross-cultural experience. In order to strengthen an existing partnership, ideal if from Illinois, but there would be flexibility to consider others as well.
