Nurse voluntary service/United States/120669/NurseNurseChrist House<p> Under the general direction of the Clinical Director, the Volunteer Nurse has shift authority, accountability, and responsibility for quality patient care. </p><p> Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): <ul> <li>Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care</li> <li>Directly supervise nursing assistants</li> <li>Provide wound care, draw labs, interpret vital signs, write referrals to specialists, handle patient medications and provide ongoing patient education</li> </ul> </p><p> <i>*BSN preferred. <b><u>Must obtain</u></b> DC nursing license and BLS certification prior to start date.</i> </p> <div class="ExternalClassD1A975199E0742BA880B297D671E435C"><p> <b>Qualifications</b><br> The nurses and HRC assistants work together to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to patients in our 34-bed medical facility.
