Case Aide voluntary service/United States/509495/Case AideCase AideCatholic Charities, Archdiocese of San Antonio, Inc. <p>Under the supervision of the Refugee Resettlement Department Director, the Case Aide will be issued multi-task assignments. He/She will ensure that assigned tasks will be a continuation of services provided in a planned, effective and timely manner as well as in a culturally appropriate manner to meet the needs of a diverse refugee population residing in our communities. This person will provide case aide duties to refugee clients. This person will also provide services that are appropriate to the needs of the refugees, and contribute to the early employment and self-sufficiency of the participating refugees. Detailed responsibilities: </p> <ul> <li>Provide client/clients with an appropriate-culturally relevant reception into the community </li> <li>Provide direct service support and referrals as needed </li> <li>Work with Coordinators and Case Managers in areas concerned with: Housing, Employment, Job Training, Health and Emergency, and English as a Second Language </li> <li>Transport and assist clients with matters concerning State and Federally assisted programs (i.e. Food Stamps, Medicaid, Social Security) </li></ul><div class="ExternalClassD8AA6C39F77E448EB57F5B5BB32EDCD3"> <ul> <li>Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, adapt to a changing work environment, relate to and work with multi-cultural communities </li> <li>Strong organizational skills </li> <li>Effective communication skills both oral and written </li> <li>Knowledge of computer software </li> <li>Obtain and maintain a drivers license </li> <li>Adhere to agency and program policies and procedures </li></ul></div>
