Mission and leadership experience: Andrew has worked for the Evangelical Center for Pastoral Studies for Central America (CEDEPCA) as a national coordinator in an ecumenical program with pastors and leaders in Central America. Founder and general manager for Coemsa (Human resources consulting company in Honduras), Andrew currently works with Mennonite Central Committee East Coast as a Diverse Constituency Coordinator and Southeast Program Coordinator, where he connects with Anabaptist pastors and churches throughout the East Coast. In addition, he leads the MCC immigration program in South Florida.
Andrew has worked in multicultural settings in Central and South America, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and the United States.
He is an ordained minister for Southeast Mennonite Conference and serves as a district minister for the South Florida area.
Andrew has served with Medical Group of Mission in Honduras (now Medical Mission International, MMI); Shoulder to Shoulder project with the University of Cincinnati in Honduras; board member for the Honduran Theological Faculty; board member for Habitat for Humanity Honduras; president of Centro Christian Center for Humanitarian Services; and as a Mennonite Central Committee service worker in Miami.
Andrew has a bachelor's degree in Counseling, National University of Honduras (UNAH); bachelor's degree (license) In Pedagogy, National University of Honduras (UNAH); master's in Human Resource Administration, Technological University of Central America (UNITEC); Training in Pastoral Ministries, Latin-American Biblical Seminary (SBL); andSocio-Theological Studies, Ecumenical Department of Investigation (DEI).
