Carmen Hoober is a personnel counselor for Mennonite Mission Network's Christian Service programs.
Carmen graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a master's degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution. She also has a BA in English from Anderson University, and has previously worked at the Center for Community Justice in Elkhart with the Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP).
Carmen interviews applicants for service and assists in the placement process for various short-term and long-term programs, including Mennonite Voluntary Service (MVS), Service Adventure, Youth Venture, SOOP (Service Opportunities with Our Partners), and DOOR (Discovering Opportunities for Outreach and Reflection).
Carmen is passionate about personal and professional development and enjoys helping other people discern how to use their gifts, skills, and abilities to serve God and others. She loves reading, writing, and pinning crafts on Pinterest that she will never actually do.
Carmen is married to Brent and is mother to three children, Brady, Reid and Audrey. Carmen spends a lot of time watching her kids play baseball, basketball and soccer. They live in Goshen, Indiana.
