In March 2002 I began working with Mennonite Mission Network in relationship with Latin America. I interact with workers, churches, and other entities in twelve Latin American countries, and in regional work that includes people from other countries as well. Mission Network supports the development and missional work of Mennonite churches in the region and also collaborates with indigenous evangelical churches and holistic ministry programs.

Before serving with Mission Network, I worked with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Latin America and Caribbean programs, including service in Bolivia and Honduras.

I have learned a lot in relationship with the churches in Latin America through the years. My formal education includes a bachelor's degree in history and social science from Bethel College, North Newton, Kansas, and a master's degree in peace studies from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary.

I am from Newton, Kansas, where I have my membership in the First Mennonite Church, and I am also actively involved with Iglesia Menonita Casa Betania.
