My roots are in Central America. I moved with my family to the U.S.A., specifically Elkhart, Indiana, in the '90s. I graduated from Goshen (Indiana) College, with a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership. In August 2019, I graduated from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, with a Master of Arts in peace studies, with a concentration in international development administration.

I am the founder of Piedra Viva Mennonite Church, Elkhart, and was installed and licensed for leadership on June 14, 2021. I am also the founder of a popular podcast within the Hispanic community called "Un Momento De Anabautismo." In high school, I started writing stories, and I was later inspired by how women work very hard in America, especially single mothers. And hence, my book, "The Magic Book of Isabela" was born. I was later guided by the Holy Spirit to start a new legal nonprofit Mennonite organization to offer immigration justice, using a Biblical approach, called La Posada Immigrant Aid.

Y así nació mi libro The Magic Book of Isabela (El libro mágico de Isabela).
