As senior executive of Resourcing and Mobilization, I lead two teams of people committed to peace and justice who seek to deepen individual and congregational engagement in God's mission.
Staff of these two teams meet with conference staff, pastors, and church leaders, sharing in the missional journey with a global perspective. We offer resourcing to leaders and individuals to help them consider discipleship and peace church planting as part of our DNA, so that in the future it happens more organically. We invite and encourage young and old alike to consider service as a lifestyle and part of our Anabaptist way. We walk alongside conferences in their mission activities and serve as a resource to them and help move forward their missional interests.
We are ready to help leaders consider how their congregation or conference can work at missional discipleship and Christian formation, biblical foundations for preaching and teaching, creating joyful praise and worship, and networking congregations across the United States and around the world.
Before coming to Mission Network, I spent 11 years as minister of worship and music in a rural congregation west of Goshen, Indiana. Worship and music are important elements in my life, with worship and singing being an everyday activity. For me, mission grows out of our worship and praise, which helps us to understand who we are as beloved children of God, saved by faith in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
I completed my MDiv from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Indiana, in 2012. Learning and growing in Christ is a lifetime activity, and I enjoy sharing with other Christians on the journey of being a missional people and church.
My husband, Mike, and I have three adult daughters, two sons-in-law, and six grandchildren. Mike and I live in Goshen and are members of Silverwood Mennonite Church in Goshen.
