Sharon Norton is a personnel counselor for Mennonite Mission Network International Ministries. She helps people who are interested in serving internationally to discern that calling, and walks with them through the appointment process. She is also the director of the Journey International program, which is an international program for young adults wanting to serve up to a year with one of Mission Network’s partners, either on a team or as an intern.
Sharon graduated from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary with a master’s degree in Theological Studies with a concentration in Biblical Studies.
Sharon is passionate about God’s mission in the world and how everyone can participate in it. She enjoys thinking and dreaming with others about creative ways of reaching people with the good news of Jesus. As a returned mission worker from Germany, Sharon appreciates being able to tell stories from that experience, and talking about missions in post-Christian/post-modern settings.
Sharon is married to Steve, who is managing a Rise n Roll store, and is mother to three children, Katja, David and Marius. They live in Goshen, Indiana.
