What a joy it must have been for Mary to meet Elizabeth! Can we imagine? Two beautiful women, daughters of God, blessed, faithful, full of joy and happiness.
In our journey in life, we meet women from different parts of the world and create bonds that only are possible through Jesus.
In Matthew 1:20, we find the fulfillment of the prophecy "... when he had resolved to do this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, 'Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.'" This is the hope among us, that through Jesus's birth, God is a tremendous reality in our lives. It is a fact that we cannot deny.
His name is Jesus, and this has such a powerful and transforming meaning. "You are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21 NRSVUE). It is the Holy Spirit who comforts us. Jesus is our Savior. He is with us.
Throughout my 40 years of ministry, I have walked with women who have suffered all kinds of violence and oppression, and I have also had the privilege of seeing how the presence of Jesus has transformed their lives.
We have seen miracles of healing, and through prayer, we are united, interceding day and night for so many people who are suffering. It has been a great blessing for each of us and our families.
I want to end by saying, Ebenezer, the Lord has helped us up to this point! And we are sure that he will always be with each of us.
Let us pray:
Lord Jesus, we pray that you continue to renew our strength and that our hope in you may increase each day. May we continue to be instruments who serve you with love.

¡Qué alegría habrá sido el encuentro de María con Elizabet! ¿Podemos imaginarnos? Dos mujeres preciosas hijas de Dios bendecidas, fieles, llenas de gozo y felicidad.
Al encontrarnos en el camino con mujeres de diferentes partes del mundo, creamos vínculos que solo Jesús puede dar.
En Mateo 1:20-23 encontramos el cumplimiento de la profecía "…Ya había pensado hacerlo así, cuando un ángel del Señor se le apareció en sueños y le dijo: "José, descendiente de David, no tengas miedo de tomar a María por esposa, porque el hijo que va a tener es del Espíritu Santo". Esta es la esperanza entre nosotras, que Dios es una realidad tremenda en nuestras vidas. Es un hecho que no lo podemos negar.
Su nombre es Jesús que tiene un significado tan poderoso y transformador. "Se llamará así porque salvará a su pueblo de sus pecados". Mateo 1:21b. Es el Espíritu Santo consolador, Él es nuestro Salvador, Él está con nosotras.
A lo largo de mis 40 años de ministerio, he caminado con mujeres que han sufrido todo tipo de violencia y opresión, pero también tuve el privilegio de ver cómo la presencia de Jesús ha transformado sus vidas.
Hemos visto milagros de sanidad y por medio de la oración estamos unidas intercediendo de día y de noche por tantas personas que están sufriendo. Ha sido de gran bendición para cada una de nosotras y de nuestras familias.
Quiero terminar diciendo ¡Ebenezer, hasta aquí nos ayudó El Señor! Y estamos seguras que estará siempre con cada una de nosotras.
Oremos:
Señor Jesús, te pedimos que continúes renovando nuestras fuerzas y que nuestra esperanza en ti pueda aumentar cada día. Que continuemos siendo instrumentos para servirte con amor.
