ELKHART, Ind. (Mennonite Mission Network) — Mennonite Mission Network expands its vision for partnering in peacemaking, social justice and anti-racism ministries with proceeds from the recent sale of the Mennonite Voluntary Service (MVS) house in Washington, D.C. 

Mission Network will tithe proceeds to the Washington, D.C., MVS host congregations: Community House Church, Washington, D.C., and Hyattsville Mennonite Church, Hyattsville, Maryland. Mission Network will use the remainder of the $905,000 sales price, after closing costs, to establish an endowment that directly supports peacemaking, social justice and anti-racism organizations that are run by people of color, as recommended by the host congregations.
