The World Association for Christian Communication North America has elected Burton Buller, director of Third Way Media in Harrisonburg, Va., to its executive committee, class of 2012.
 
Buller will serve on a 17-member committee that includes heads of communication for a variety of Christian communication agencies or denominations.
 
The WACC promotes communication for social change, including strengthening cultures, enabling participation, creating community, and challenging tyranny and oppression through media.  

Buller is an administrator, writer, director, narrator, producer, cinematographer, editor and videographer with award-winning productions that have been broadcast on ABC-TV, NBC-TV, Hallmark Channel, National Public Television, The Discovery Channel, CBS: 60 Minutes, The Learning Channel and broadcast outlets in Canada, Europe and Japan. Previously, he served as executive director of Family Life Network in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He has been the director of Third Way Media (formerly Mennonite Media) since 1999.

Third Way Media, based in Harrisonburg, Va., produces a radio program, TV specials, Internet sites and discussion-oriented DVDs and videos for home and church use. Third Way Media is a department of Mennonite Mission Network.
