Northern Ireland

 Partner overview

Mediation Northern Ireland supports parties dealing with change, contention, conflict and difference to find acceptable and non-violent agreement.Since the 1980s, with training and support from North American Mennonite mediators, peace activists came together to form Mediation NI. Mission Network (and formerly Mennonite Board of Mennonites) and Mennonite Central Committee have helped with training, short-term personnel and grants over the years. MNI works with individuals, churches, communities and organizations in the public, private and third sector to support them to deal with difference and to find non-violent resolutions to disputes. MNI is based in Belfast but works across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain and internationally.
