40 activities for Lent

Lent is a time of remembering Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness that prepared him for ministry. Join us in these activities as we prepare for Easter, and live and share God’s peace every day. You can build community by posting on Facebook or Instagram about your activity. Use the tag #ichoosepeace2018. When we inspire others toward small acts of peace, together we can show that we are serious about working with God to make earth more like heaven.
You don’t need to do every activity to benefit from this calendar. If you miss a day or two, don’t quit; do as many as you can manage to make the season meaningful without making it overwhelming.
