Newton, Kansas
I am grateful to be on the staff here at Mennonite Mission Network since June 2019. Prior to that, I served as director of children's and youth ministries at Hillside Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas. I also served as the director of development for Kansas Christian Home in Newton, Kansas, a faith-based continuing care retirement community. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wichita State University and worked in the athletics department for many years. I grew up as a "preacher's kid," having a mother who is an ordained minister in the Christian Church-Disciples of Christ denomination. From an early age, I was taught the important message that "to whom much is given, much more is required (Luke 12:48)."
My beloved wife, Jennifer, is a vocal music teacher. Jennifer and I are the proud parents of two adorable young children, son, Denver, and daughter, Dakota. My hobbies include music (both listening and performing), traveling, learning about history, and being a devout sports fan, especially for Wichita State men's basketball and Denver Broncos football.
I look forward to meeting all of the wonderful donors who help make the ministry of Mennonite Mission Network possible.
