Explore service in a new way
Mennonite Mission Network’s Service Adventure program is designed for young adults ages 17-20. Through a 10-month service term (August-July), participants live together in a unit house along with unit leaders, serve with local nonprofit agencies, and connect with a supporting church congregation.
Solidarity Scholarship Fund
The Solidarity Fund aims to foster equitable learning and service opportunities by addressing barriers for individuals who have financial need and are also from communities most impacted by a history of systemic oppression and injustice. Broadening the demographic profiles of our participants increases the likelihood of a richer cultural experience for all participants.
When funds allow, White allies committed to advancing racial and social justice with a financial need may also be considered.
Service Adventure Placements
Each Service Adventure unit is connected with local nonprofits with a wide variety of volunteer placement opportunities. During your application process, we consider any placement preferences you have, and we prioritize the most urgent needs of our community partners. We trust our partners to know what service is needed most in the communities where they live and work! Because of this community-centered approach, Mission Network cannot guarantee the availability of any placement listed on our website. Sometimes, there are placement opportunities so new that they’re not even public yet!
