I began to work with Mennonite Mission Network as a Church Relations representative in September 2015. Prior to this, I served with my wife, Anna, through Mission Network in South Africa, working in the areas of biblical education and leadership development for members of African Initiated Churches.
I am passionate about communicating the good news of Jesus Christ and building relationships within the church. In my current role, I will continue to encourage, educate and connect people for the purpose of God's mission in the world.
Based on my gifts, experience and education, I am prepared to engage the church on a variety of topics related to the Bible and mission. I feel most at home in the study and proclamation of the Scriptures.
I have a BA in History from Bethel College (Kansas) and an MDiv from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (Indiana). I am pursuing my PhD from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, which investigates the relationship between Mennonite and Pentecostal theology.
Anna and I live in Goshen, Indiana, and have four sons, Isaac, Moses, Levi and Jesse. We attend Berkey Avenue Mennonite Fellowship.
