The Solidarity Fund aims to foster equitable learning and service opportunities by addressing barriers for individuals who have financial need and are also from communities most impacted by a history of systemic oppression and injustice. Broadening the demographic profiles of our participants increases the likelihood of a richer cultural experience for all participants.
The fund supports participation in:
- Learning through Just Peace Pilgrimages and Youth Venture
- Service through Mennonite Voluntary Service and Service Adventure
Eligibility
- Individuals who are 15 years or older.
- Individuals from Asian, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous and other multi-racial communities that are most impacted by a history of systemic oppression and injustice.
- Individuals who identify cost as a barrier to participation.
- When funds allow, White allies committed to advancing racial and social justice with a financial need may also be considered.
