Partner overview



<p>​<em>Christliche Dienste</em> is the voluntary service arm of the German-wide Mennonite Conference AMG. They have been sending German volunteers to MMN's service programs for several decades, and occasionally a U.S. volunteer works for them. <br></p><p><em>Christliche Dienste </em>(CD) was founded in 1986 as a means for supporting mission service and peace projects around the world, not only financially, but also by sending service workers. Although CD is run by the AMG conference (<em>Arbeitsgemeinschaft Mennonitischer Gemeinden in Deutschland</em>), applicants come from other denominations as well. CD is part of a network of other voluntary service organizations and quality consortiums. </p><p>Following Jesus' commission, CD strives to demonstrate God's love, to have an attitude of service, as well as promote justice, peace and the preservation of creation.<br></p><p>Mennonite Mission Network and our predecessor agencies have partnered with <em>Christliche Dienste</em> through the Mennonite Voluntary Service and Service Adventure programs for more than 20 years. Uusually CD<em> </em>has sent participants to the U.S. and a few times someone from the U.S. volunteered with CD<em> </em>in Germany. <br></p>
