“Empires” is an interactive and reflective curriculum designed for youth leaders to guide young people as well as adults in exploring how the world’s powerful and oppressive systems infiltrate our lives, and how following Jesus offers freedom from these cycles of violence and injustice.
Through the Empires interactive curriculum, participants will wrestle with their own identities and experiences and how they relate to the worldly powers that perpetuate violence, division, and injustice. The curriculum compares our modern context with a biblical context and teaching, offering alternatives that reflect Christ’s witness of hope, healing, justice and peace.
