Kate serves alongside La Prairie Mennonite Church in their community outreach ministries, including the church’s café, bookstore and afternoon leisure activities. Kate’s particular focus is the children and women of the Muslim neighborhood where she lives. She leads a sewing class and participates in a mamas’ group and a girls’ group.
