While visiting Korea Anabaptist Center (KAC), Andi Santoso, Andi Santoso, Mennonite Mission Network Regional Director for Asia and the Middle East, experienced a simple yet profound lesson in hospitality he won’t soon forget.
Learning from our partners
The simple act of sharing a bowl of ice cream became a living example of trust, generosity and true hospitality. In a world that often emphasizes individual portions and personal space, our Korean Anabaptist friends invited their guests into a deeper experience of community — receiving from shared resources and welcoming one another as family.
Moments like these remind us that mission is not only about what we bring, but also about what we receive. Our global partners continually teach us new ways to follow Jesus through everyday practices of peace, sharing, and mutual welcome.
