Roxy grew up primarily in Manhattan, Kansas, with the exception of one year when her family lived in the country of Trinidad and Tobago. She graduated from Goshen college with degrees in Music and Peace, Justice, & Conflict Studies and then spent two years as a volunteer with Mennonite Voluntary Service (MVS) in Alamosa, Colorado. Following her volunteer term, Roxy has remained in Alamosa where she works in the field of Restorative Justice. She is grateful for the ways in which her experience with MVS allowed her to explore both a professional path and a community that she has come to love.
Roxy attends the Anabaptist Fellowship of Alamosa and has been involved with Mennonite Action in her community. She also serves on her local Habitat for Humanity board. In her free time she enjoys sharing meals with friends, spending time outdoors, and making music and quilts.
