We hope this playful moment serves as a gentle reminder to laugh, seek out levity, and find joy — even when life feels heavy.   

As you may suspect, the Savior Scents™ candle set is not a real product — though wouldn’t those Resurrection Breakfast and Silent Stable scents be amazing?

What is very real is the flame of hope that Mission Network shares through ministries and partnerships around the world.

Mission Network exists to lead, mobilize and equip the church to participate in God’s mission. We’re inspired by the creative and compassionate ways Jesus lived out that mission, and we see that same spirit alive today in the faithful workers, international partners, and dedicated volunteers who serve with us.

We may not hand-pour scented candles, but we’re excited to give you a fresh “whiff” of the vibrant mission we’re part of.

Amid global challenges — conflict, migration, systemic inequities, and division — stories of hope emerge.

Peacebuilders has been leading workshops on peacebuilding tools in different parts of the country. As we continued this work, we began to sense a deeper need: to reflect more intentionally on what Scripture teaches us about peace. In response, we launched a new course that is currently running virtually, with some in-person sessions as well. Our goal is to help Anabaptist congregations—and others interested in the work of peace—build a biblical theology of peace. Throughout the course, we are using various academic texts alongside Scripture-based reflections.

Healing and listening for the whisper of God
Each year, the San Francisco MVS unit is invited to gather together and craft comforters for themselves. Karen Kreider Yoder, a member of the unit's host congregation, First Mennonite Church of San Francisco, hosts the group at her home for this annual tradition.
