Benin blessing goes both ways

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Mennonite Mission Network) — Olouwafemi Frédéric Djodjouhouin (left, in robe) leads a prayer for worshipers gathered at Mennonite Mission Network’s board meeting September 25 in Kansas City, Mo. Djodjouhouin and Mathilde Atiogbe-Kpataclo, board members of Benin Bible Institute, offered prayers for Mennonite Mission Network’s board and ministries after Mission Network staff members prayed for BBI.

The Benin delegation also was introduced and greeted by Mennonite Church USA boards during joint meetings.

The two Beninese representatives will participate in Waterford Mennonite Church’s 50th anniversary celebration October 9-11. The Goshen, Ind. church and the Bible institute are involved in a partnership through Mission Network that includes mutual support, prayer and visitation. BBI also is a partner with St. Jacobs (Ontario) Mennonite Church.
