Education conversation continues Feb. 19-21 in LA

ELKHART, Ind. (Mennonite Mission Network) — The conversation on education initiatives within urban areas and among racial and ethnic populations that began in Indianapolis in November will continue Feb. 19-21 in Los Angeles.

The Education Opportunities Summit will build on the objectives gathered from the November Urban Leaders Network meeting. Summit participants will be asked to outline a strategy for addressing issues of education within Mennonite Church USA, in consultation with representatives of the denomination, educational institutions and urban leaders.

The summit will be at the Sheraton Gateway LAX Hotel, 6101 W. Century Blvd., near the Los Angeles airport. Room cost is $85 per night and up to four people may be in one room.
