ELKHART, Ind. (Mennonite Mission Network)—Mennonite Mission Network has hired Abby Findley as the marketing assistant. Findley, who began Nov. 14, replaces Grace Swartzendruber.
In her new role, Findley will organize events, manage mailings, and participate in Mission Network’s social media outreach efforts.
Findley comes to Mission Network from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Goshen, Ind., where she has worked since July 2010. A 2009 graduate of Bethel College, North Newton, Kan., Findley earned a Bachelor’s in communications and a minor in business administration. Findley also assisted in planning Mennonite Church USA’s 2009 convention.
Findley is married to Andrew Findley, who is a skills training specialist at Oaklawn, a mental health facility in Elkhart. They live in rural Elkhart County and attend Olive Mennonite Church in Elkhart.
Findley said she’s thrilled to make the transition from sales to a nonprofit mission agency. It’s exciting to think about having the opportunity to work for an organization with such a wonderful purpose and solid foundation,” Findley said. “To know that not only could my personal faith be fed through this job, but that I would have the opportunity to help feed others, spiritually and physically, brings me great joy.”
