Barbara Bontrager, author of the book A Mother Held Hostage, shares her family’s journey with Jon and his eventual death from a drug overdose. Barbara and her husband Jonas were also featured in a documentary from Third Way Media, Fierce Goodbye: Living in the Shadow of Suicide which aired on numerous stations.
